(1963-1864); Exchanged out October 6, 1864, so sick he could not
walk on his own; Mustered out at Charleston, South Carolina, July
10, 1865

(Tuscarawas County) while traveling on Society of Separatist of
Zoar business (resident of Zoar at the time)
Buried Zoar Cemetery, Zoar,
Ohio (Tuscarawas County); Tombstone, which is gone, had name
spelled "Reiker" and birth date of 1844; As of 2010, a newer Civil
War veteran marker is on his grave with an eroded one restored
