Rose Hill Burial Park is at 3535 West Market
Street, Fairlawn, Ohio (
Summit County).
Some maps show this street as Medina Road or State Route 18.
Before being incorporated into Fairlawn, this cemetery was in Bath
Township. However, family records usually show this cemetery
as being in Akron and its postal address is Akron. The
office is immediately west of the cemetery at 3653 West Market
Street in the Catavolos Funeral Home.
Most Sections in the cemetery are bounded by roads. Section
numbers can be found in the cemetery on small signposts at many
intersections. Maps of the cemetery are available at the
office. Or, use these descriptions to find the Sections
relevant to this website (see also link to Google Maps, below):
- The main entrance off W. Market St. looks like a boulevard.
- The first section on the right is Section 1.
- The Smith Road entrance is on the east edge of Section 1.
- East of the Smith Road entrance, beyond a parking area and
the old office, is Section 1A.
- Northwest of Section 1A is Section 2 and then Section5.

(Section 10 has a panhandle that is Section 10A).
- The Old Mausoleum is west of Section 10 between the
middle two of the four ponds.
