John Littell's Family
Records... states Phebe Ryan is a "half sister of Martin Ryan"
(as shown below), her last child was born in 1834, yet William Ryan and
Chloe Tucker married in 1786. This suggests Phebe is the child of
William Ryan and an unknown second wife. Had Phebe instead been
born before William married Chloe, Phebe would have been at least age
48 when she had her last child. Had Phebe actually been a child
of Chloe and a full
brother to Martin, then Phebe married her first cousin (Phebe's husband
is a nephew of Chloe).
