This lineage includes only the known descendants of William Routh (g.15) who were born with the name Routh.  All the children of William Isaac Routh (g.16) and William Culbertson Routh (g.17) are shown (the children listed for generations 17-18 are complete).  It is not known whether there are any additional Routh descendants in generations 16 or 19-20.  There are 12 known Rouths in generation 21 who are not listed above.

The Routh family begins in England where William Routh (g.15) and his son William Isaac Routh were born.  Both were among the early settlers of Logansport, Indiana, in the early 1800's.  Much of the family remained in the Midwest, though some scattered from coast to coast.  The family has been in the butcher and meat packing business for 4 generations in Indiana and later Ohio.  The name is pronounced like Ruth, rhyming with booth.

This Routh genealogy lineage is mostly ancestral and partly in-law to Tucker.
